Cotton College recognizes the importance of emotional well-being along with the need to excel in academics. Keeping this end in view, it started the ‘Peace station’ in February 2013–a counseling centre where a professionally trained counselor meets students, staff and teachers of the college every Tuesday and offers free one on one confidential counseling. Peace station also organizes talks on diverse issues relating to emotional health. It plans to widen its scope in future and, if feasible, begin counseling sessions on parenting issues too.
